A quickie Image Gallery update just in time for the holidays. 35 new pictures have been added. It's not much, but it'll have to do for now. And of course, the new Songs of the Month are now available for your listening pleasure. It's a very crazy time of year so the probability of there being another update before New Year's is basically zero. ^^; But hopefully 2005 will bring about lots of new surprises. New Songs of the Month are up. Sorry they're a bit later than normal. I'm hoping to have some time this weekend to work on the Image Gallery, since it's been quite awhile since I added anything to it. If I manage to get to it, expect another update sometime next week. If not...well, we'll have to wait and see what comes up.

Well, it may have been delayed, but the summary for new OVA Episode #16 is now up. This is the last one I'll be doing for the new series until it's available in US stores, as the fansubbers stopped production after this episode. So go enjoy this sneak peek at the third OVA series and rejoice in the knowledge that the rest will come in due time.

New Songs of the Month are up. Still working on the summaries. I got a bit caught up in another unrelated web project, so things have been delayed again. Bear with me.

The summary for new OVA Episode #15 is now online. I've already begun taking screen captures from Episode 16, so hopefully that summary will be up shortly too. Then I'll be caught up on the new material and can work on the old...which is only another 13 episodes. [Gulp]

It's come to my attention that people are hotlinking to some of my media files and HTML pages. To the morons out there doing this, I'll have you know that I won't stand for it. I've renamed the files in question and am keeping a record of all the URLs hotlinking to me. You'd do well to not piss me off any further. Comprendre?

Just like Lazarus I have risen from the dead!! OK, not really, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of you were wondering where the heck I've been since June. I was incredibly busy and I got so sidetracked that I admit I forgot to post songs for the month of July. I feel horrible about it, so in an effort to make up for my forgetfulness, for August we have FOUR Songs of the Month instead of the usual two. I also shifted the Movie downloads around to offer some new material. Things have finally started to slow down around here and I hope to do some good work on the Episode Summaries in the immediate future.

Speaking of which, it's been confirmed that FUNimation has acquired the distribution and dubbing rights for the third Tenchi OVA! This means it will definitely be heading stateside in the near future, but it also means that the fansubbers have stopped production, therefore halting any early English viewings of any episodes after #16. Mixed blessing I guess. Let's just hope that FUNi has good luck rounding up the original English voice cast...especially Sherry Lynn!

Another delayed and unexciting update, I'm afraid. New Songs of the Month but I haven't had time to work on anything else. It looks like I'll be spending most of my summer painting walls and replacing outdated household objects. What fun! >< But I won't bore you with the agonizing details. While things may be slow here at the Sanctuary for now, you can be certain that it won't be this way forever!

Grr...I meant to have this update posted over the weekend but my internet has been giving me no end of problems lately. Makes me so mad! >< Well, on the theory of "better late than never," the new Songs of the Month are finally up. I'm not entirely sure how much headway I'll be able to make on the site this month since there are a lot of things going on. We'll just have to wait and see what develops!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's been three whole years since the Sasami Sanctuary first appeared in the wide world of the internet. I can't believe it's been that long--it still feels like it could've been yesterday. Despite server problems, ups and downs with hosting, and a sometimes overworked and sometimes lazy webmaster, this site has continued to serve the needs for Sasami fans everywhere. Thanks to anyone who has ever visited this site for helping it to stay alive! And to future visitors, don't worry--I'll be at this for a long time yet! ^^

Small update this time. I cleaned out the links section and removed the dead sites and added in a few nice ones I found, many of them with relevant information about the new OVA series and the Masaki Family Tree. Joined a couple of new topsites too, just for fun. Show your support of the site by voting for it! ^^ More to come soon.

New section to report! I've been wanting to add illustrated episode summaries to the site for awhile now, and the arrival of the new OVA series sort of prompted the need for them. There is now a full summary of Episode 14 complete with tons of screenshots! (Be aware of spoilers!) I put a lot of work into it, so I hope everyone enjoys it. Please let me know what you think!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! New Songs of the Month are now up. I'm still debating on what I'm going to do for the character shrines and exactly how I want to present the screen shots and the summary of the first episode of OVA #3. Should the summary include spoilers (both major and minor) or should I just let the screen caps do all the talking? I wonder...

The Forums are now closed! After a lot of careful work on both my part and by the kind people at HostGo, I regret to announce that there appears to be some sort of bug in the message board's software and therefore, I cannot upgrade it to a more current version. With this in mind, I cannot in good faith keep the current forums up and running, since there's a chance it could have security problems or that it may spontaneously crash. So, the forums are going to be deleted and then a new one will be reinstalled in its place. This of course means that all posts and current member accounts will be lost and everyone will have to re-register. I'll make a news post as soon as the new board is up in running, which should be within a few days or so. Stick around!

Time once again for a regular ol' music update. My friend John (otherwise known as "ka6blw" at the Forum) was also kind enough to donate a clip of Sasami & Ryo-Ohki from the first episode of OVA #3! Thanks, John! ^_^ This will serve as a great teaser/preview for those of you who haven't been lucky enough to see the whole thing yet. (I think it goes without saying that it's AWESOME!) I'm hoping to have some screenshots and a general summary of the episode up very shortly so bear with me, but at least now there's a clip to enjoy!

The newly-enhanced Puzzle section is back online (finally). It includes a new layout, the subtraction of some images and the addition of a lot more different ones, so be sure to give it a look. Next up on the agenda are the Shrines, which are still in the early development stages. I want to be sure that they're benemissimo before they join the rest of the revised site. ^^

I've made mine, but it's a secret...for now. ^^ Still haven't finished the Puzzle section, though it's at the top of my "To Do" list, so hopefully it will be up by the weekend if we're lucky. Looking at those old posts really takes me back...sometimes it seems like I've been at this for a lot longer than two and a half years. Here's to 2004!
