I'm so sad that you're leaving! Well, I hope you had a good stay on Midnight's Moon. Here are some places I highly recommend. None of them have anything in common, but I think they're all pretty cool. I hope you'll visit me again sometime!
Now for even more shameless self-promotion! This is the other site located on Midcatwmn.com's server, and it's a shrine dedicated to the cutest character in Tenchi Muyo: Sasami! I'm happy to add that this site got more hits in one day than Midnight's Moon got in a month and a half! Grazie, Anime Web Turnpike! :-)
I have a love/hate relationship with this site. I absolutely adore it for hosting the Golden Sun fanfiction section, (I admit that I spend far too much time reading those) but I hate it because I get error messages about traffic overflow at least once a day. Sometimes more! ARGH!! On the plus side, when it's working, it's probably the place where I spend most of my down time.
This is the homepage of my author friend Triad Orion. I met him through the GS section of FF.net and since then, well...things really haven't been the same! Pretty much everything here is chuckle-inducing, though he's almost as bad as I am about updating. ^^; Hehe...if you look around enough, you'll likely spot a certain someone making guest appearances in some of the sections. ^_^
A funny and entertaining Golden Sun shrine that just happens to be run by two of my best author friends, Elena and Akiko. Definitely worth a look even for non-fans of the game. All the little special interest sections are cute and hilarious! Trust me--to know it is to love it!
The homepage of my author friend Kadevi. It's a rather small site, but it still warrants a visit for her fanfics alone. She's a really amazing writer! Plus she has some really awesome AIM icons that you must see to believe. Hands off the Mia ones though--they're mine! ^^
Of course, you knew that a rabid Nintendo fan like me would put this in her links section! This is Nintendo's official homepage, and one that any videogame fan should frequent!
If you have plenty of spare room on your hard drive and a fast internet connection, check this site out! It's fun to download the Quicktime movies here and get the Japanese anime music stuck in your head for days. (I speak from personal experience. After downloading the original opening to Cowboy Bebop, I had the theme song stuck in my head for at least a week!)
This place has tons of free web graphics that you can use on your own pages. This is where I got many of those funky animated bullets I use. If you're looking for more cool stuff to jazz up your web page, this is a great place to start looking! They have lots of stuff, including HTML tutorials, backgrounds, bullets, and animated pictures!
I'm a big fan of Sailor Moon, but you don't have to love the show in order to enjoy this website. KatC has tons of stuff to check out. This is where I found that cute Artemis as well as many of my other bullets. There are also some helpful tutorials on HTML, Java, and how to avoid pop-ups on Geocities or Tripod (useful for those of you who don't want to give up and pay for untarnished space like me!).
One of my absolute favorite ways to kill time! Bored.com has links to some of the weirdest and coolest sites on the internet. If you haven't checked out this site, you're missing out on some of the best stuff on the web. A great place to go when you have nothing to do.
This is a good resource page for Tenchi Muyo, one of the best animes ever. The focus is mostly on the red-haired mad genius Washu, but there's stuff about the other characters too. There are some nice pictures and fan works here as well, so check it out if you want. You'll become hooked on the show once you learn more about it. Believe me!
This is exactly what it says--a site with jokes, jokes, and more jokes. We all need a laugh once in a while, right? This place has hundreds of jokes sorted by categories and ratings. Categories include Microsoft, Animals, Body Functions, Rednecks, Sports, and many, many more. Guaranteed to help you lighten up.
