Apparently I surprised a lot of people with the "plot twist" in chapter 16 of Echoes of Light, judging by the large number of death threats and "OMG HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!?" responses I got. It's so nice to be loved! ^^
Chapter 17 is coming along...slowly. It's battle intensive and fight scenes always take me longer to write than anything else. >< I think about one-third of it is written (give or take) but it feels rough and is going to need extra tinkering. Work, work, work.
To anyone wondering what's going to happen, well...I won't reveal specific details because that would ruin the surprise. But I will say that chapter 16 was part one of a two part plot twist. The second part will come in chapter 17. Think of it as a one-two punch of reversals. ^_-
